STRONG FOUNDATIONS
Merle Inc. was founded in 2004 by Merle “Jeff” Schafer. He sought out Cle Elum as our home base because he wanted to build unique homes that showcase the beauty and entertainment of four distinct seasons.
Our management team is different when compared to other area builders. Our senior team has more than 140 years of combined experience. We have a large, diverse staff and pride ourselves in quality, accessibility to clients, and financial transparency. Learn more about our processes >
Outside of work, you can find us snowshoeing, playing golf, hiking, fly fishing and frequenting the numerous local eateries. We are recreation enthusiasts with a passion for building that love living in the heart of the cascades.
