Tim and his family moved to Upper Kittitas County in 2000 to be closer to fly fishing. They purchased 15 acres on the Teanaway River and built their dream home. For Tim, that means fly fishing is only two minutes away!

Tim, a true veteran of the construction and financial management industries, is an integral member of Merle Inc.’s leadership team. He draws on his wealth of experience to meticulously navigate the intricacies of the company’s finances. Tim also serves as Merle Inc.’s marketing leader. He is committed to bringing a client centric point of view to the company, prioritizing client education in building a custom home.

Originally from Chicago, Tim began his career in the construction industry with his family’s business, where he helped build over 450 homes in the suburban enclave of Arlington Heights. He later served as president of a resort community in Northern Michigan. Prior to entering the construction industry, Tim attended college at Central Michigan University, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting. After college, he worked at a national accounting firm – Price Waterhouse Coopers – where he earned his CPA license.

Tim is married to his high school sweetheart, Patti. They share two sons who live in Upper Kittitas County and work in the building industry.
