Senior Project Manager

Joey Lashua has lived in Upper Kittitas County for 25 years. The area holds a special place in his heart for its unique quality of living and working in the same environment.

Joey has served as Merle’s Senior Project Manager for eight years, during which he has played an instrumental role. He works closely with Project Coordinators, Field Personnel, and Senior Leadership staff daily. His responsibilities extend from the moment the sales team hands over a project to production all the way through to its successful completion. He loves working for Merle due to the company’s strong teamwork environment, allowing for seamless collaborations to achieve shared goals.

Joey’s career in the construction industry began at the age of 18. He worked for a construction company based in California, traveling around the country and working on department stores. In 2005, he decided to further his education and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from CWU while continuing to build homes. He climbed the ranks from site superintendent to Senior Project Manager, amassing eleven years of experience. This diverse background has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the entire home-building process, from inception to completion.

Outside of his professional life, Joey cherishes his time with his family, including his wife, Stephanie, and their two children, Logan (8) and Luke (5). He also indulges in his passion for hunting when he has free time.
