Jeff Merle Schafer
Merle Inc was founded in 2005 by Jeff Schafer. Jeff is a graduate of Western Washington University with a B.A. in English. While attending college Jeff worked on many projects from remodels to custom homes.

Jeff’s 15 years of experience includes general contracting as well as hands on exposure to many of the trades. Jeff has worked in several construction positions and has become an exceptional craftsman. Jeff started his first general contracting company in 2000 after graduating college. In 2004 Merle Inc. moved operations to Cle Elum, WA. After recognizing the need for custom home builders.

Just like the homes we build, Merle Inc was founded on relationships. We place the highest priority on each client’s complete satisfaction, but also look at each new home as the beginning of a lasting relationship.

Cody Martz
Cody is the back bone of daily the operation with his hands on approach to getting things done. Cody came to Merle Inc. in early 2008 and has been a valued team member since.
